We've moved...

The seminars have changed location from The Grand Hotel to Sketty Baptist Church. The free use of the kitchen for cookery demonstrations and ample parking make the new location much easier to run the CHIP programme. The graduation presentation and dinner will still be held at the Grand Hotel.

Please check the schedule to see a map of the new location and also check the remaining seminars. Maybe you can stop by to see what the Coronary Health Improvement Project can do for you.

And we're off!

The first seminar of the CHIP programme took place last night at the Grand Hotel, Swansea. There are still spaces left to be a part of the project and it is still possible to join in if you make it to tonight's second seminar entitled 'Portrait of a Killer' from 6.30pm.

Please stop by and see what the Coronary Health Improvement Project can do for you.

Cancer scares - just what is good for us?

Yesterday there was a revealing interview with Richard Evans (Head of Communications for World Cancer Research Fund ) on Radio 5 Live. It's not often that clear sensible advice is shared through the media so I had to share a link to his article on the BBC website.

So often we a subjected to so many conflicting reports relating to science and health. With CHIP you can get a good and solid understanding of how lifestyle choices affects your health through the 16 seminars.
There is only one day left for information sessions to sign up to the project - next Thursday (*mistake, it will be on Wednesday, please double check the schedule) at the Grand Hotel (3 sessions held in the evening for those unable to attend the previous ones due to work commitments). We look forward to seeing you there.
